Age and Birthday: Twentytwo; May 20th, 436.
Appearance: A woman who does well to take care of herself. Her clothes are always of good material and taste, no matter the occasion. Her blonde hair is pulled back, save for two curls at the front, and spiral into extravagant curls, with her usually sporting a type of head wear to go with it. A pair of petite lips, a slender nose and large, green eyes, she won't be miss able in a crowd, in true fashion of a (self-loving) person who knows how to treat herself.
Personality: Esmeralda has a high opinion of herself and her beauty, possibly believing it to be a great blessing and a curse at the same time. She has a love for beautiful things, liking to surround herself, and be in possession of, rich and beautiful objects. She can be judgmental, but whether she ends up expressing it depends on the attitude shown by the opposite person.
Despite how she may come off, she is a very loyal woman. Because of Lord McDohl's act to go through with giving her what she wanted, she joined and stayed at the castle throughout the whole war despite her distaste for the headquarters.
Weapons: Esmeralda uses no weapons other than her own mouth, if needed.
Occupation: None.
Talents: The talents that come with being Esmeralda are being able to keep company with people in a more lesser position than her (poorly dressed), saving most of her judgments to herself unless angered. She also has a great eye, and love, for the arts.
She dabbles in art, mostly painting, and has some past experience in playing a musical instrument, but nothing concrete; she also knows a little of flower arranging, even if she'd rather have someone else doing the work for her.
Runes: While Esmeralda has shown to be capable of using rune magic in war, she doesn't bother to hold onto one.
Weaknesses: She's extremely vain and can become spiteful towards a person if they rub her the wrong way. She has no abilities in combat, has the ability to use a rune but doesn't do so, dislikes being wrong, and will refuse to do any sort of hard work.

History: Esmeralda has lived a most comfortable life, becoming involved at an early age in a lifestyle concerned with art and proper etiquette. Becoming absorbed into this way of life she dressed herself and her home to suit anyone with a taste of the finer things of life.

It was when she had taken a trip to Bier Blance, a city known to be rich in fine taste thanks to the famous designer Milich Oppenheimer's influence of the area, that she became stuck there for some time because of the troubling war going on. It was at that time that she met with the leader of the side opposing the Empire, Lord McDohl, to whom she suspected wished to kidnap her for a ransom. He showed to have a good heart to her, however, by following her demands and bringing what she wished. Knowing him to not be a simple kidnapper she followed him in his cause, though not as well as other people. She much preferred to stay in the company of people who shared similar taste to herself, trying to ignore the state that she was living in to fulfill her side of the deal. It was in this time that she became a close acquaintance to both Vincent de Boule and Milich Oppenheimer.

When the war came to an end, she decided to travel back to her more comfortable home and beautiful gardens, but found herself whisked away by some unknown means to Budehuc Castle.
